- About to ICMEED 2024-
The 2024 International Conference on Marxist Economics and Economic Development is about to be held, aiming to gather scholars from around the world to discuss the new developments and applications of Marxist economics, as well as its guiding significance for current and future economic development. This conference will conduct in-depth discussions on topics such as theoretical innovation in Marxist economics, theory and practice of socialist market economy, economic development strategies in the context of globalization, and the economic impact of digital economy and new technological revolution. Through keynote speeches, group discussions, academic paper exchanges, and other forms, promote the collision and integration of academic ideas, and advance the enrichment and improvement of the theoretical system of Marxist economics. At the same time, the conference will also focus on how Marxist economics can provide solutions to the challenges facing the current world economy, how to guide countries to achieve sustainable economic development, and how to maintain national economic security and sovereignty in the process of globalization. The attendees will jointly explore the vitality and influence of Marxist economics in the new era, and contribute wisdom and strength to building a more just, reasonable, and sustainable world economic order. We sincerely invite scholars, policy makers, and economic professionals from around the world to participate in this grand event, jointly promoting new developments in Marxist economics research and exploring new paths for economic development.

All full paper submissions to the ICMEED 2024 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of ICMEED 2024 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Contributors are encouraged to submit papers / abstracts to the conference. The organizing committee will select high-quality papers and recommend them to SCI/SSCI journals. For specific matters, please contact the person in charge of the conferrence.
Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to icmeed@sub-paper.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
